The actress's late father, Delancey Reinaldo 'Rey' Thorne, was of Cuban and Italian descent, while her mother Tamara Thorne has Irish, English, German, and Welsh roots.

The former Disney star's father passed away in a motorcycle accident in 2007 at the age of 44 when she was just nine years old.
