HE KILLED HIS MOTHER, DAUGHTER, AND WIFE
The incident took place in the evening hours on 384th Street in the Kuşcağız neighborhood of Keçiören district. Recep Cengiz, who was released from prison on leave, went to his mother Azize Cengiz's house. There, for an unknown reason, he argued with his mother and shot his daughter Azra Cengiz, who was staying with her. Recep Cengiz then placed the lifeless bodies of his mother and daughter into a light commercial vehicle with the license plate 35 ASA 769 and went to the house of his wife Beyzanur Uçan Cengiz, who was in the process of divorce and lived in the same neighborhood.
HE COMMITTED SUICIDE AT THE SCENE
According to allegations, Recep Cengiz, fearing that his wife would not open the door, disguised himself as a courier and rang the doorbell while wearing a helmet. After his wife opened the door, Recep Cengiz shot her with a gun and then committed suicide at the scene with the same weapon.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to two separate addresses. After the work done by the medical teams and the crime scene investigation teams, the bodies were taken to the Ankara Forensic Medicine Institution. An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
