The news of the martyrdom of First Class Police Chief Muhsin Aydemir, who was killed in an armed attack on a police station in Izmir, caused mourning in his hometown of Bursa. While his father, Ilhan Aydemir, received condolences in the İnegöl district, his mother, Nebahat Aydemir, who fell ill, was taken to the hospital.
In the Balçova district of İzmir, in an attack carried out with a shotgun at the Salih İşgören Police Station, 1st Class Police Chief Inspector Muhsin Aydemir and police officer Hasan Akın were martyred, and 2 police officers were injured.
It was learned that martyr Muhsin Aydemir was registered in the İnegöl population. The sad news reached his family home in the Mesudiye neighborhood. Father İlhan Aydemir and mother Nebahat Aydemir accepted condolences from AK Party Bursa Deputy Ayhan Salman, İnegöl District Governor Eren Arslan, and İnegöl Mayor Alper Taban. The Quran was recited at Aydemir's family home. It was learned that the martyr police chief's funeral would be buried after the autopsy procedures.
GRIEVING MOTHER FAINTED
The mother of Muhsin Aydemir, Nebahat Aydemir, fell ill upon receiving the news of her son's martyrdom. Mother Aydemir was taken to İnegöl State Hospital's Emergency Department by 112 ambulance for treatment.
