In the investigation regarding the shooting deaths of Gül Seher Göksan and Turan Emre Arıkan in the Didim district of Aydın, it was determined that the incident occurred due to a debt-related issue. Two brothers, aged 74 and 70, who confessed to committing the murders, were taken into custody.

FOUND IN A POOL OF BLOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET The incident occurred yesterday morning in the Hisar neighborhood of Didim district. Bystanders saw two people, one female and one male, lying motionless in a pool of blood on the street and reported the situation to the police. Upon the notification, a medical team dispatched to the area determined that the two individuals had been shot and had died. The police teams identified one of the bodies as belonging to Gül Seher Göksan and the other to Turan Emre Arıkan. After examinations at the scene, the bodies were taken to the morgue for autopsy.
KILLED IN A CAR The teams from the Didim District Police Department's Public Order Bureau found an abandoned car a few kilometers away from the location where the bodies of Gül Seher Göksan and hairdresser Turan Emre Arıkan were discovered. An examination of the car revealed empty cartridges and traces of blood. It was determined that Göksan and Arıkan were shot in the car and that their bodies were thrown by the roadside afterward. Additionally, medical teams found 5 bullet wounds on Göksan's body and 4 on Arıkan's body.
Gül Seher Göksan 2 BROTHERS DETAINED Police teams examining security camera footage identified two suspects related to the incident. In an operation conducted by the police at a house in Hisar neighborhood, H.O. (74) and his brother İ.O. (70) were detained along with the weapon used in the incident.
Turan Emre Arıkan DEBT ISSUE It was learned that the suspects stated in their initial statements that they had argued with Göksan and Arıkan over a debt issue, and that the incident occurred during this argument. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
