In a recent inspection by the municipal police teams in the Alanya district of Antalya, a restaurant was permanently sealed after it was found to be using moldy and spoiled appetizers, meat, and meat products.
The teams of the Alanya Municipality's Zoning Department, which continue hygiene inspections throughout the city, inspected a restaurant operating on Hoca Ahmet Yesevi Street in the Saray neighborhood.
During their inspection, the zoning teams found numerous serious health threats in the restaurant. Among the products prepared for service, they identified moldy, rotten, and spoiled appetizers, meat, and meat products, which were determined to pose a risk to public health.
It was also observed by the teams that the establishment did not comply with general hygiene and sanitation conditions, that cigarette butts were found in the production area, and that there was a strong odor in the environment. During the inspection, necessary reports were prepared in accordance with relevant regulations, and the establishment was sealed indefinitely.
"HEALTH COMES FIRST"
Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik stated that they will continue food inspections without interruption, saying, "We continue our inspections without compromising on any establishment that endangers public health in every corner of our city. Recently, after inspecting a food company that sold expired products, we encountered unwanted images in another establishment and took the necessary actions. The health of our citizens and the guests visiting our city comes first. I invite all business owners and employees to be extra careful about hygiene. We will continue our inspections with determination," he said.
