It was claimed that Bilal Erdoğan, son of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was preparing to run for the presidency of Fenerbahçe Sports Club. Bilal Erdoğan categorically denied this claim about himself.
"I HAVE NO BUSINESS WITH IT"
During a press conference at the promotional meeting of the 13th International Conquest Cup, Erdoğan responded to a question regarding the presidency of the yellow-blue club, saying, "It's not even a matter of discussion, I have no business with it at all. Of course, I am a Fenerbahçe fan, that's a separate issue. We have been saddened by not being able to become champions for years, but I have no connection or involvement with these matters. We are trying to revive archery, our traditional sport. We invite everyone to the Ethnosport Culture Festival on May 22. We have the work of culture and revival, and the task of passing on the heritage to future generations. Right now, I definitely have no such agenda. I honestly do not foresee any possibility of that in the future. I have no agenda regarding being a Fenerbahçe administrator." he replied.
