AFAD announced that a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred at 15:46, with its epicenter in the Kulu district of Konya. The earthquake, which was felt in other provinces and caused great panic, was captured moment by moment by cameras.
According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was recorded with its epicenter in the Kulu district of Konya. It was determined that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 18.73 kilometers. The earthquake was felt in surrounding provinces, especially in Ankara.

Following the earthquake, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared a post on his social media account, stating, "All teams of AFAD and our relevant institutions have immediately started field searches regarding the earthquake felt in surrounding provinces. As of now, there are no negative situations. I extend my best wishes to the citizens affected by the earthquake."
