A 16-year-old boy in the Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul opened a fake account on social media posing as a woman and communicated with his 17-year-old friend F.C. for a long time. When the truth came out, the two met at a restaurant and argued. In the escalating argument, F.C. stabbed his friend in the back. The injured person was taken to the hospital but could not be saved despite medical intervention.
THE PERSON HE THOUGHT WAS A WOMAN TURNED OUT TO BE HIS FRIEND
The incident occurred around 09:30 in front of a restaurant located on Halkalı Street in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood of Küçükçekmece. According to allegations, 16-year-old Botan B. communicated with his friend F.C. (17) through a fake female profile he created on social media for a while. F.C., who had been chatting with the person he thought was a woman, became extremely angry when he learned the true identity.
STABBED MULTIPLE TIMES
In the morning, Botan B. went to the restaurant to get soup and encountered F.C. in front of the restaurant. The argument that started between the two quickly turned into a fight. F.C., who pulled out a knife he was carrying, stabbed Botan B. multiple times in the back.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Nearby citizens tried to intervene and separate the fight, but Botan B. collapsed to the ground from the severe knife wounds he received. While F.C. fled the scene, those around immediately reported the situation to the police and medical teams. The medical teams that arrived at the scene took the seriously injured boy to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all medical interventions, Botan B., who was treated in the hospital, lost his life.
