The Ministry of Trade has decided to recall four phone models from the brands Reeder, Dijitsu, and Hikıng, as well as a wireless speaker from the Mercusys brand, due to their failure to meet safety standards. Citizens who own any of the mentioned products can apply to the place where they purchased the item to return it or exercise their right to exchange it for another product.

TO BE RECALLED FROM THE MARKET
The Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) has determined that some electronic devices do not comply with safety standards. Following this determination, the Ministry of Trade took action and decided to recall 4 mobile phones and 1 wireless speaker model from the market.
The products to be recalled are as follows:
- Reeder brand "S19 Max Pro S Zoom"
- Dijitsu brand "DCT 90"
- Models "X11" and "X9" from the Hiking brand
- Mercusys brand "AC 1200" model wireless speaker device
SECURITY VULNERABILITY CITED AS REASON
It was determined that the mentioned devices do not meet the technical and safety criteria specified in Article 5 of the Radio Equipment Regulation. The conditions include the following items:
- Insufficient electromagnetic compatibility: Potential to interact with other electronic devices and create interference.
- Failure to use the radio spectrum efficiently: Radio frequencies not being used effectively and regularly.
- Insufficient safety requirements: Elements that could pose risks to human health, pets, and property safety.
- Incompatibility with common chargers: Not functioning properly with standard chargers.
- Incompatibility with EU-compliant connection interfaces: Incompatibility in connecting to interfaces that meet European Union standards.
RIGHT TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE
Citizens who own one of the products that have been banned from being sold and recalled can apply to the place where they purchased the product to return it, receive a refund, or exercise their right to exchange the product for another one.
