The incident occurred in the Ihlamurkuyu neighborhood of Ümraniye around 21:00 in the past days, where a man named U.S. (35) killed his wife Nıggına Sattarova (35), a citizen of Uzbekistan, by cutting her throat with a cleaver in the middle of the street due to jealousy.

Teams from the Istanbul Police Department launched an operation to capture the suspect who fled after the murder. The person named U.S., who committed the act, was caught in Ümraniye in the morning hours. It was determined that the suspect was the victim's husband and that the incident occurred after a dispute arising from jealousy.
ANOTHER PERSON INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENT WAS ALSO CAPTURED
During the ongoing investigations, another person identified as U.B. (25) who was involved in the incident was also captured. The suspects' procedures at the police station are ongoing.
