It has been announced that efforts are ongoing for the rapid release of Togg's third model, the T8X, and that the other Togg models are aimed to be launched in France and Italy after Germany.

TOGG Chairman Fuat Tosyalı and TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş met with members of the press at IAA Mobility 2025 held in Munich, where the company introduced its innovative product range and mobility ecosystem.
Providing information about the fair, Tosyalı stated that the T10F and T10X received the highest rating of 5 stars in the independent Euro NCAP program, which evaluates the safety of cars in the European market.
Expressing that they always stand behind the vehicles they produce and that consumers can directly reach them for any issues, Tosyalı said, "We are confident in the quality of our product. If we had any doubts, we wouldn't be here showcasing it. Technologically, based on what I have received from my team and user feedback, I can say it is the best among comparable vehicles. We may have shortcomings, but we have the infrastructure to revise our deficiencies at any moment, and we are revising them immediately."
"WE HAVE NO DISCUSSIONS FOR PARTNERSHIP"
When asked whether they have met with local or foreign investors and reminded of claims that they have met with Chinese investors, Fuat Tosyalı made the following statements:
"We haven't met so far. We don't have such a need. We started out as 5 partners. We are satisfied with our situation and our partnership. There is no need to bring in a new shareholder, that's the first point. Secondly, there is no situation that would require us to meet with the Chinese or anyone else. In our country, the Chinese are not only in the automotive sector; they are present in all sectors. 'Is there demand coming?' Yes, there is demand. 'If you say there isn't, what happens, why isn't there demand for these?' If you say there is, it doesn't work. There is no such thing at hand."
Tosyalı pointed out that their discussions are generally for cooperation in technology, stating, "We would meet with a German technology supplier to develop technology, we would meet with an American, and we would meet with a Chinese. Because sooner or later, we are creating an integrated structure for the world. However, ultimately, we have no discussions that would lead to a partnership, nor are we open to such a thing. But in order to develop our vehicle, we are meeting with many suppliers from Turkey. We are in discussions with all over the world."
"OUR FACTORY OUTLET PRICE FOR GERMANY WILL NOT BE CHEAPER THAN TURKEY"
TOGG Chairman Tosyalı, recalling that the T10F and T10X will be available for pre-order in Germany on September 29, responded to a question about the reason for the price difference between the two countries:
"Our factory outlet price is clear. There is tremendous competition here. There isn't a huge difference anyway. You have a production cost, a narrow margin, and a price set by the market. You are already squeezed there. How can we sell cheaper in Germany? Ultimately, we have a factory outlet price. The price of this product may vary in each country according to the taxes in that country. It stems from the financial and tax burdens on it. Ultimately, it doesn't change for us. The amounts of special consumption tax (ÖTV) applied in our country and the amounts applied in sales in Germany certainly show variations. The VAT and ÖTV determine the final price of the vehicle. This is not a rate we can control, but our factory outlet price for Germany will not be cheaper than Turkey."
When asked whether they have any initiatives for a scrappage vehicle discount, Tosyalı stated that they do not have such an initiative, but that such a discount would be beneficial for reducing the average age of vehicles in traffic, reducing accidents, and stimulating the market.
"THE 5 STARS FROM NCAP WILL MAKE US MORE PREFERABLE"
When asked whether the 5-star rating from Euro NCAP would affect sales, Fuat Tosyalı answered that it would definitely contribute.
Stating that when a car is purchased, the driver entrusts their life to it and carries their loved ones, Tosyalı emphasized that being reliable is more important than the price and comfort of the car.
Tosyalı said, "I believe this will make us more preferable than many other brands in this regard. Because we have invested a lot in this. It has a significant financial cost for us, but there is also the peace of providing a safe vehicle in return. I believe consumers will prioritize our vehicle in their choice."
"TOGG MUST DEFINITELY GO PUBLIC IN THE FUTURE"
TOGG Chairman Tosyalı responded to a question about whether they have plans for an IPO or exit, saying:
"Exit is not on the table, but going public should be on every company's roadmap. We see the IPO as a sharing. Not today, not in a very short time, but TOGG must definitely go public, must offer its shares to the public, and must attract investors from Turkey. This, of course, makes sense in terms of sharing the success of TOGG. This will also strengthen TOGG even more. But first, we need to establish TOGG as a successful, profitable, and on the ground we aim for. After we establish that, we can bring in those who wish to be stakeholders and I think it should go public."
Tosyalı noted that TOGG's annual production capacity is 175,000, stating that they need to reach this figure along with other models, and explained that they have not thought of a ratio regarding how export and domestic market quantities will shape, but that they are following a sales strategy that will make their own consumers happy first.
Tosyalı stated that the dealership system they will initiate will not affect the sales price for customers, adding that these dealerships will provide significant contributions in terms of experience and after-sales service.

Tosyalı reminded that when the Togg T10X was first opened for pre-orders, there were 177,000 requests, and in response to the question of whether they expect a similar demand from Germany, he stated that they believe there will be serious demand from both Europe and Germany.
Emphasizing that they have received serious demand from Germany for a long time, Tosyalı said, "We have no doubts about the market. We trust our vehicle here, and we trust the comparison with our competitors in both markets in every way. We do not see any problems there. The important thing is that we can produce to meet this demand. The T10F is also a new product for us. We will have an increasing production capacity. We will direct this in a balanced way to the domestic and foreign markets." he stated.
"WE HAVE NO FEAR OF COMPETITION UNDER EQUAL CONDITIONS"
Fuat Tosyalı, in response to a comment about Chinese automotive investment, stated that not only the Chinese but everyone can invest, as they are present everywhere in the world.
"Of course, they can come, they can invest in this country. But I do not think they will identify with our society, they will integrate," Tosyalı said, and added:
"My sincere opinion is that I do not want this to be pulled to one side or become a polemic issue. Because I am also an industrialist of this country, and I invest everywhere in the world. We have more than 50 businesses worldwide. Our businesses are not small ones. We are genuinely acting as a part of that society with our businesses, around which we have created many industrial clusters."
Tosyalı stated that they established Togg in Gemlik, have 3,000 employees, and that these people work day and night in production and are part of the ecosystem.
He noted that when a car is purchased from them, it contributes not only to those 3,000 people but also to the employees of hundreds of suppliers, and made the following evaluations:
"If a Chinese investor really comes here and establishes a facility and behaves like us, I would personally go and buy his vehicle. If he is going to employ my brothers, create a work environment, provide the same social standards, and be a part of our society and ecosystem, then that Chinese is actually Turkish. We will also provide him with all the support we can. But if he comes here and has the construction done by his own contractor, that won't work. Then this won't be a fair competition. Our production costs, our salaries, and the capital we invest in this business are evident. We have no fear of any competition under equal conditions. The better one wins. And it's not just one brand; there are countless brands. Of course, there will be other producers. We do not have the power to meet the consumer's needs alone. Everyone will be there, but those who are there need to be a part of this society. That is the most valuable thing for me. Of course, those who will ensure this are our high authorities who act as referees. They must be paying attention to this balance. That’s how I think."
Tosyalı, in response to a comment that the ÖTV regulation on electric vehicles negatively affected Togg's sales, said, "The referee is blowing the whistle like this. The music changes, the dance changes. We are not in a position to say, 'It must be this way.' We are industrialists, we are players." he stated.
"WE ARE PREPARING FOR LFP BATTERY"
TOGG CEO Gürcan Karakaş, in response to the question of when a new generation chemical battery will be seen in Togg, stated that they started their journey by collaborating with the best in the world in terms of batteries as much as possible.
He expressed that they wanted to be involved in the battery issue from the beginning and that it was an approach supported by the government, and continued his words as follows:
"At that time, we started our journey with a company that has entered mass production in the world, has the largest and highest energy density, and has the chemistry that will provide the most range. But that company, like other companies, is preparing for the development of technologies. The fact that the chemistry is changing does not mean that we have lost the competence to produce the battery we will produce. It is important who we work with. Therefore, as long as we continue to work with the best in the world, we will reach those resources. We are working with the best in the world, whoever is number one or number two. We always have a strong partner by our side. Our preference is always to determine who the good partner is and continue our journey with them."
In response to the question, "Are you preparing for LFP battery?" Karakaş replied, "We are."
TOGG WILL ENTER FRANCE AND ITALY AFTER GERMANY
Gürcan Karakaş, in response to why Germany was chosen first, made the following evaluations:
"Being in the right place at the right time is very important in such events. Germany is the largest market. If you feel that you can differentiate yourself from your competitors in a large and difficult market, you will not be afraid or hesitate to enter there. Our concern was not to have a thornless rose garden. We have always come prepared for competition. We think it is the right time, and that is why we came to Germany." he stated.
He emphasized that after demonstrating their competitiveness in Germany and being successful, they believe they will be successful in every country.
In response to the question of which countries they will launch after Germany, Karakaş said, "We want to continue by applying what we learned in Germany in France and Italy."
"WE HAVE STARTED WORK ON T8X"
TOGG CEO Karakaş, in response to a question about the 2.5-year gap between the two models and when the new model will come, stated that a learning organization progresses faster while repeating the same processes, but they are going through a very rapid change in artificial intelligence, battery, and connected technologies, and they need to digest this change as they move forward.
Karakaş said, "We have already started our work on T8X, which will be a smaller version of T10X. Normally, it is true that such a product should come out in 2.5 years, but we are currently striving to release it about 2 years earlier."
In response to a question about whether they will open dealerships, Karakaş stated that they do not only look at where the sales figures come from but also examine their potentials, saying, "In the next 3-5 months, we will start with agency dealerships in 5-6 locations and we want to spread this a bit to the rest of our country with what we learn from there."
