U.S. President Donald Trump addressed the camera following the attack on Iran's nuclear facilities. In his statement, Trump said, "Iran must make peace now. If it doesn't, the next attacks will be much bigger."
On the 10th day of the Israel-Iran war, the feared happened. The US, involved in the war, struck three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordo, with 30 Tomahawk missiles.
HE GAVE A SPEECH TO THE NATION
Hours after the attack, US President Donald Trump appeared before the cameras with his advisors and gave a speech to the nation. Trump argued that their aim in striking Iran's nuclear facilities was to destroy Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and to stop the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terrorism.
"IF THERE IS NO PEACE, WE WILL TARGET OTHER OBJECTIVES"
Trump continued his speech as follows; "The US military carried out large-scale precision strikes on three key nuclear facilities of the Iranian regime: Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. I can tell the world tonight that the attacks were a magnificent military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely destroyed. The bully of the Middle East, Iran, must now make peace.
If Iran does not make peace, the upcoming attacks will be much larger. Iran was chanting 'Death to America, death to Israel.' I decided long ago that I would not allow this. I want to thank and congratulate Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We have made significant progress in eliminating this terrible threat to Israel.
"A TRAGEDY WILL OCCUR"
In Iran, there will either be peace, or a tragedy much greater than what we have witnessed in the last 8 days will occur. Remember, there are more targets. Tonight's was the most difficult of all, by far, and perhaps the deadliest. However, if peace does not come immediately, we will pursue other targets with precision, speed, and skill.
"GOD PROTECT THE MIDDLE EAST"
There is no other army in the world that could carry out this attack. I want to say that we love God and that our great army protects them. God protect the Middle East. God protect Israel, and God protect America."
