U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, who attended the cabinet meeting at the White House hosted by President Donald Trump, made statements regarding Iran.
"THEY SHOULD NO LONGER BE PURSUING NUCLEAR CAPACITY" Hegseth, stating that they did what was "necessary" in Venezuela under Trump's instructions, criticized Iran citing its nuclear weapons program. Hegseth said, "Make sure that all options are presented to Iran to make a deal. They should no longer be pursuing nuclear capacity."

He expressed that they will do what is necessary to protect U.S. interests regarding Iran.
TRUMP'S THREATS TOWARDS IRAN U.S. President Donald Trump, in a statement made on his social media account yesterday, indicated that "a massive armada is heading towards Iran," calling on the Tehran administration to make a deal, warning that otherwise "a worse attack will be carried out."
Trump pointed out that the mentioned armada is larger than the fleet sent to Venezuela, led by the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln, stating, "(The fleet) is ready, willing, and capable of carrying out its mission quickly and violently if necessary, just like in Venezuela."
