The Turkish Men's National Basketball Team defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 82-75 away in the fifth match of Group C of the FIBA 2027 World Cup European Qualifiers First Round.

BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA LEADS AT HALFTIME

Turkey started the match with a three-pointer from Tarık Biberovic, and after mutual scores, led the first period 10-6. Following minutes where both teams struggled to score, Bosnia and Herzegovina reduced the deficit to 1: 9-10. In the final stretch, the crescent-stars could not get what they wanted under the basket on offense, and Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the first quarter ahead 18-17 with a three-pointer from Garza.

At the start of the second period, both teams traded scores while the gap remained: 22-21. As Bosnia and Herzegovina started the fourth quarter with a 5-point run thanks to Garza's effective play, Turkey responded through Alperen Şengün and Furkan Korkmaz: 62-63.
