The body of Iran's former religious leader Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the US-Israeli attack in February, was brought to a mourning hall in Tehran. Thousands of people competed to touch Khamenei's coffin.
Funeral ceremonies for Iran's former leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in the US-Israeli attack on February 28, will be held in Tehran, Qom, Najaf, Karbala, and Mashhad between July 4 and 9.
Khamenei's body will be buried at the Imam Reza Shrine in Mashhad.

The funeral ceremony began in Tehran. Khamenei's body was brought to the mourning hall in Tehran. Many people attended the ceremony. The hall was seen to be completely full. Iranians were seen competing with each other to touch Khamenei's coffin.
