Within the scope of the investigation into Gülistan Doku's disappearance, simultaneous operations were conducted in 5 provinces. Among them, Handan Sonel, wife of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, the owner of the IT company that allegedly interfered with Doku's phone, and 3 doctors, a total of 15 suspects were detained. The investigation is ongoing from multiple angles.
Simultaneous operations were carried out in Elazığ, Malatya, Ankara, Istanbul and Tunceli upon the instructions of the Erzurum and Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices within the scope of the Gülistan Doku investigation.
15 SUSPECTS DETAINED
Within the scope of the operation, a total of 15 suspects, including 3 doctors, 1 nurse, 1 IT staff, 5 data entry personnel, Handan Sonel, wife of former Tunceli Governor Tuncay Sonel, the owner of the IT company deemed to have interfered with Gülistan Doku's phone, 1 businessperson, and 2 security guards, were detained.
It was learned that the suspects were caught in operations carried out in the early hours of the morning.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
While the procedures of the detained suspects at the police department continue, it was stated that the investigation is ongoing in a multi-faceted manner under the coordination of the Erzurum and Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices.
