During traffic inspections carried out in Kayseri between July 2-8, many drivers were fined. The heaviest penalty was imposed on 174 drivers who drove vehicles despite having their licenses temporarily or permanently revoked. These individuals were fined a total of 34 million 800 thousand Turkish lira in administrative penalties, while millions of lira in fines were also issued for violations such as driving without a license, drunk driving, running red lights, drifting, excessive exhaust, and mobile phone use.

In Kayseri, police teams issued millions of lira in fines to drivers who violated traffic rules during a week-long inspection. A total of 34 million 800 thousand lira in administrative fines were imposed on 174 drivers who were caught driving despite having their licenses temporarily or permanently revoked.

Between July 2-8, the Kayseri Provincial Police Department Traffic Inspection Branch teams conducted extensive inspections targeting vehicles and drivers disrupting public peace, such as those with exaggerated exhausts, drifting, cutting lanes, and playing loud music. During the inspections, 174 drivers found to be driving despite having their licenses temporarily or permanently revoked were fined a total of 34 million 800 thousand lira.

THOUSANDS OF DRIVERS FINED

Additionally, during the inspections, 169 drivers were fined 6 million 760 thousand lira for driving without a license, 53 vehicles were fined 265 thousand lira for modified vehicles, and 31 drivers were fined 496 thousand lira for using exaggerated exhausts.

Furthermore, 263 drivers were fined 1 million 315 thousand lira for running red lights, 60 drivers were fined 1 million 500 thousand lira for drunk driving, and 2 drivers were fined 300 thousand lira for refusing to blow into the breathalyzer.

FINED FOR DRIFTING, MOBILE PHONES, AND LOUD MUSIC

During the seven-day inspections, 1 driver was fined 140 thousand lira for drifting, 1,036 vehicles were fined 1 million 290 thousand lira for playing loud music, and 708 drivers were fined 3 million 540 thousand lira for using mobile phones while driving.

Additionally, 121 vehicles were fined a total of 150 thousand 766 lira in administrative penalties due to deficiencies in lighting equipment.
