In the Karasu district of Sakarya, an unattended black bag found on the shoreline put police on alert. Following a report from citizens, teams dispatched to the area seized 33 vacuum-sealed packages containing a total of 21.5 kilograms of a drug known as skunk hidden inside the bag. A large-scale investigation has been launched into the incident.

In the Karasu district of Sakarya, 21.5 kilograms of narcotics were seized from a suspicious bag that washed ashore.

According to the information obtained, after a black bag was found on the shore at the Aziziye Mahallesi Doğu Karadeniz Caddesi coastline in the Karasu district, teams were dispatched to the area. Upon examination by the teams, approximately 21.5 kilograms of skunk substance were found inside the bag in 33 vacuum-sealed packages.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

The seized narcotics were confiscated, and a judicial investigation was initiated in line with the instructions of the Public Prosecutor regarding the incident.
