The teams of the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry detected and destroyed approximately 23 tons of cottage cheese that had passed its expiration date during inspections conducted within the scope of food safety. Sakarya had previously made headlines due to violations in dairy products and the meat of single-hoofed animals.
Sakarya has recently been frequently mentioned in the context of chicken poisoning, meat from single-hoofed animals, and the list of harmful foods announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
Most recently, teams from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry detected approximately 23 tons of cottage cheese past its expiration date in a zero-rated dairy facility during inspections conducted throughout the city.
23 TONS OF COTTAGE CHEESE DESTROYED
While administrative sanctions were imposed on the business, the seized products were destroyed in a solid waste facility under the supervision of control officers.
