33 arrests in Barış Boyun investigation: Operation extending from Istanbul to 7 provinces

In operations organized in 7 provinces centered in Istanbul against the organized armed criminal group led by Barış Boyun, 33 of the suspects detained were arrested. Among the suspects, which include 6 lawyers, 4 were released under judicial control conditions.

In the investigation centered in Istanbul, raids were conducted at 113 addresses targeting an organized crime syndicate. Of the suspects sent to court, 33 were arrested, while 4 were released under judicial supervision.

SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION AT 113 ADDRESSES

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, a large-scale operation centered in Istanbul was carried out against the organized armed crime syndicate led by Barış Boyun.

As part of the operation, simultaneous raids were conducted at a total of 113 addresses in Istanbul, as well as in Tekirdağ, İzmir, Siirt, Samsun, Tokat, and Şanlıurfa.

45 suspects caught

45 SUSPECTS CAUGHT

Within the scope of the investigation, 45 suspects, for whom detention warrants were issued, were caught and taken into custody. After the completion of their procedures at the police headquarters, the suspects were sent to court.

33 people arrested

33 PEOPLE ARRESTED

Of the suspects brought before the court after their procedures at the prosecutor's office, 33 were arrested and sent to prison. Four suspects were released under judicial supervision.
