While most of these individuals were released after police statements, raids were conducted at 62 addresses in Istanbul and Kocaeli early this morning. According to the statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 39 people were detained, and search efforts for 23 individuals continue.
In the prosecutor's statement on the matter, it was claimed that those detained were linked to certain illegal leftist organizations and that there was 'information that they could carry out actions' against them.
