During security checks in Sultanbeyli, a 13-year-old child was found in the driver's seat of a stopped car. The moments when the father tried to convince the police by saying, 'The child has psychological issues,' were mind-boggling.
During a night-time public order operation in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district, a striking violation was detected. In a inspection conducted by the district police department on Fatih Boulevard in Akşemsettin neighborhood, it was determined that a 13-year-old child was behind the wheel of a stopped car.
FATHER WAS IN THE PASSENGER SEAT
During the check by the teams, it was found that the minor driver's father, M.Ç., was sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Since the child was under 15 years of age, no penal action was taken against him, while the vehicle owner was fined 40,000 TL.
MULTIPLE DEFICIENCIES DETECTED IN THE VEHICLE
During the inspection, it was also revealed that the vehicle lacked mandatory traffic insurance and inspection. Due to the detected deficiencies, the vehicle was impounded.
TOWED TO THE PARKING LOT
The impounded car was taken to the parking lot with the help of a tow truck.
