Rector of Anadolu University, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel, stated that an amnesty has been granted for students who enrolled in the Open Education Faculty but could not continue after a certain period, saying, 'Our students will be able to continue their university education from where they left off and complete their studies. Therefore, we invite our students who previously left their university incomplete to re-enroll at our school.'
Anadolu University Open Education Faculty announced the application and registration calendar for candidates who wish to return to their education by benefiting from the student amnesty under Law No. 7592. In line with the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 9, 2026, students who had to interrupt their education for various reasons will be offered the opportunity to re-register.

Anadolu University Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Adıgüzel stated that students who applied for the amnesty by October 2 will start in the fall semester. Adıgüzel noted that students who register between October 2 and December 9 and return from the amnesty can start their education in the spring semester, saying, "Therefore, we invite those who want to start as soon as possible to benefit from the amnesty by October 2. We have nearly 4 million students, both domestically and abroad, who have had their registrations deleted from Open Education for some reason; we aim for 100 thousand new students. We started accepting students benefiting from the amnesty on Monday, and so far, over 30 thousand new students have applied to benefit from the amnesty."

Continuing his speech about what students who want to apply to the process should do, Rector Adıgüzel said the following in the rest of his speech;
"Those whose university education was interrupted or who had their registration deleted are faced with a question mark about how to follow this process. As Anadolu University, we have prepared informative guidance on our website that will make things very easy for students who want to benefit from the amnesty. Therefore, when they enter our website anadolu.edu.tr, we explain in the clearest way how they can benefit from the amnesty."
