EVEN THE MAYOR WAS SURPRISED
Kilis Municipality teams carried out an inspection at the cheese workshop upon a tip-off. Kilis Mayor Hakan Bilecen also participated in the inspection. Stunned by the scenes in the workshop, Bilecen said, "I have been mayor for 2.5 years. This is the dirtiest place we have seen so far." It was reported that the business owner escaped by jumping over the wall when he saw the police officers, and Mayor Bilecen asked the police teams to find the person.

Stating that no concessions would be made when public health was at stake, Bilecen said, "There is no difference between theft and health theft. We will not let these be sold."
