Trabzonspor has strengthened its squad with four additions ahead of the new season. The claret-blue club announced the transfers of Melih Kabasakal, Samet Akaydin, Metehan Mimaroğlu, and Thierry Darnel Karadeniz to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), while also disclosing contract details and financial terms for the players.
Trabzonspor, continuing its transfer efforts, has filed a notification to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) for four players. Trabzonspor announced the transfers of Metehan Mimaroğlu, Samet Akaydin, Melih Kabasakal, and Thierry Karadeniz.
2+1 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH MELIH KABASAKAL
In the statement also included in the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that an agreement was reached with Gaziantep FK for the permanent transfer of 30-year-old footballer Melih Kabasakal.
According to the agreement, the burgundy-blue club will pay Gaziantep FK 22 million 500 thousand lira, including VAT, as a contract termination fee in three installments.
In the statement reporting that a 2+1 year agreement was reached with midfielder Melih, with the option right belonging to Trabzonspor Club, it was stated: "According to the agreement, the player will be paid a guaranteed fee of 30 million 575 thousand lira for the 2026/2027 football season, and 37 million 628 thousand lira for the 2027/2028 football season. If the option right is exercised by our club, a guaranteed fee of 43 million 672 thousand 500 lira will be paid for the 2028/2029 football season."
2+1 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH SAMET AKAYDIN
A 2+1 year agreement was reached with 32-year-old national footballer Samet Akaydin, who is in a free status, with the option right belonging to Trabzonspor.
According to the agreement, the defender will be paid a guaranteed fee of 43 million 500 thousand lira for the 2026/2027 football season and 53 million 875 thousand lira for the 2027/2028 football season.
In the statement, it was noted that if the option right is exercised by Trabzonspor, Samet Akaydin will be paid a guaranteed fee of 60 million 100 thousand lira for the 2028/2029 football season, and a payment equivalent to 4.6% of the gross fee payable to the player will be made as a agency service fee.
1+1 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH METEHAN MİMAROĞLU
A 1+1 year agreement was reached with free-status left winger Metehan Mimaroğlu, with the option right belonging to Trabzonspor.
The statement said: "According to the agreement, the player will be paid a guaranteed fee of 27 million lira for the 2026/2027 football season. If the option right is exercised by our club, a guaranteed fee of 35 million lira will be paid for the 2027/2028 football season."
5-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THIERRY DARNEL KARADENIZ
A 5-year agreement was made with Thierry Darnel Karadeniz, 18, who is in a free status. According to the agreement, the attacking player will be paid a guaranteed fee of 80 thousand euros for each season, plus a one-time signing fee of 80 thousand euros.
