Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, 15, who was sitting at the cash register of a shop selling cleaning products in Adana's Seyhan district, was seriously injured when one of two people arriving on a motorcycle shot him in the head. His father, Ercüment Musaoğlu, said that for their 30,000 TL debt, they were first asked for 3 million and then 5 million TL, and that when they did not give the money, gangs shot his son. The child remains in life-threatening condition, and the suspects are being sought.
In Adana, 15-year-old Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was shot in the head while sitting at the cash register of a business selling cleaning products, remains in life-threatening condition. The family of the boy, who plays football and is a first-year high school student, called out to the authorities, claiming that the attack took place because of a debt of 30,000 Turkish liras.

The incident occurred on October 19 in the Dağlıoğlu neighborhood of the central Seyhan district. One of two people who arrived at the shop selling cleaning products by motorcycle shot Nurmuhammet Musaoğlu, who was sitting at the cash register, in the head with a handgun. The suspect left the workplace and fled with the other person waiting for him. Musaoğlu, who was seriously injured, was taken to the hospital by car by those around him. The child, who has been placed under treatment, remains in life-threatening condition. Police continue their efforts to catch the suspects.

In a statement made in front of the hospital, the father, Ercüment Musaoğlu, said: 'We had a debt of 30,000 TL. We said we would pay it, but for this debt they first asked for 3 million and then 5 million TL. When we did not give the money, they told the gangs. They, believing these people, opened fire on my son. They shot my 15-year-old footballer son in the head. My son was going to the first year of high school. My son is gone, and the suspects have still not been caught.'
Calling out to the authorities, Musaoğlu said: 'Hear my cry, find those who did this to my son. These are a gang, an organization. I am calling out to the authorities; I want the suspects to be caught as soon as possible.'

The mother, Nursel Musaoğlu, also wanted her son's attackers to be found. The mother, bursting into tears, said: 'They shot my innocent sapling. They murdered my little, innocent child in a chair. He had not even opened his eyes to the world yet. He knew nothing. We gave them money, but we still could not escape. They are still asking for money.'
