In the Derik district of Mardin, 2-year-old Efehan Aba lost his life after being run over by a reversing pickup truck. The driver was taken into custody, and an investigation has been launched.
Efehan Aba (2) lost his life after being run over by a pickup truck whose driver was reversing in the Derik district of Mardin. The accident occurred in the morning hours in the rural Pirinçli neighborhood of Derik district. Efehan Aba, who was playing in the yard of the house, was caught under the pickup truck as the driver reversed.
VEHICLE DRIVER DETAINED
Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Upon examination by the teams, it was determined that Efehan had lost his life. After the public prosecutor's investigation, the lifeless body of Efehan Aba was taken to the Derik State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
The vehicle driver was taken into custody, and an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
