In the Sulusaray district of Nevşehir, gasoline that suddenly ignited in a coal shed claimed the life of a 22-year-old young man. Osman Güven, who was engulfed in flames while dealing with the gasoline, could not be saved despite all the efforts of doctors at the hospital.

22-year-old Osman Güven, who was severely injured in a fire that broke out while he was handling gasoline in the coal shed of his home in Nevşehir, died in the hospital despite all medical interventions.

FLAMES SUDDENLY COVERED EVERYWHERE

The incident occurred in the Sulusaray district, affiliated with the Nevşehir city center. According to the information obtained, 22-year-old Osman Güven started handling gasoline in the coal shed section of his father's house. At that moment, for an undetermined reason, the gasoline suddenly ignited.

NEARBY RESIDENTS RUSHED TO HELP

Seeing the young man trapped in the flames, nearby citizens quickly intervened, extinguished the fire, and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the address shortly.

DOCTORS' EFFORTS WERE NOT ENOUGH

The unfortunate young man, who received first aid at the scene, was taken to Nevşehir State Hospital by ambulance. Osman Güven, who was treated with severe injuries, could not be saved despite all the doctors' efforts and passed away.

Following the incident, which plunged his family and residents of the town into mourning, security forces launched an investigation.
