Fenerbahçe, continuing its efforts for the mid-season transfer window, has put Brazilian midfielder Danilo, who wears the Botafogo shirt, on its agenda. It was claimed that Botafogo could demand 40 million euros for the player.

BOTAFOGO PAID 22 MILLION EUROS
Danilo, who transferred from Nottingham Forest to Botafogo in July 2025, signed a contract with the Brazilian club until July 2029. It was stated that Botafogo paid approximately 22 million euros for the star footballer's transfer fee. While it was stated that the player's contract contains a 200 million euro release clause for international transfers, it was also claimed that in some documents this figure is listed as 20 million euros.
