In the İnegöl district of Bursa, 17-year-old Ömer İsa Ş. fired a rifle multiple times at Ahmet Demir, whom he held a grudge against for assaulting his father 5 years ago. Demir was taken to the hospital in critical condition and died. The 17-year-old was arrested.
A blood-chilling incident occurred yesterday (Thursday, April 30) around 1:30 PM at a workplace operating at 22. Metal Street, Sinanbey Neighborhood, İnegöl district of Bursa.
HE SHOT THE MAN WHO BEAT HIS FATHER 5 YEARS AGO
Five years ago, a fight broke out between Ahmet Demir (51) and Ergün Ş. (50) for an unknown reason, and during the fight, Ahmet Demir assaulted Ergün Ş. After this incident, Ömer İsa Ş. (17) harbored a grudge and saw the suspect who had assaulted his father at an auto repair shop. Returning, Ömer İsa Ş. took a shotgun and arrived in front of the auto repair shop in a vehicle driven by his friend Alparslan C. (18). Ömer Ş. fired multiple shots with the shotgun at Ahmet Demir (51).
HE LOST HIS LIFE
During the attack, vehicle owner Ahmet Demir (51) collapsed to the ground covered in blood due to pellets hitting his legs, while the suspects fled in the vehicle they came in. The injured person was taken to İnegöl State Hospital by an ambulance dispatched to the scene. After initial treatment, he was transferred by ambulance to Bursa Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital. Ahmet Demir (51), who was receiving treatment in intensive care, could not be saved despite all interventions.
"I SET MY MIND ON INJURING HIM"
Following the incident, teams from the Provincial Police Department's Public Order Bureau took action, capturing and detaining the suspects Ömer İsa Ş. (17) and Alparslan C. In his statement, Ömer İsa Ş. said, "He had assaulted my father 5 years ago and prevented him from walking for a long time. I set my mind on injuring that person. On the day of the incident, I saw him and fired the shotgun."
ARRESTED
Both suspects were referred to the courthouse after interrogations. Suspect Ömer İsa Ş. (17) was arrested by the court he was brought before, while Alparslan C. (18) was released under judicial supervision.
