The epicenter of the 6.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Japan's Iwate Prefecture has been determined to be 126 kilometers east of the Yamada area. It has been confirmed that there were no casualties or property damage from the earthquake. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami warning following the earthquake.



The United States Geological Survey (USGS) announced that the epicenter of the earthquake is located 126 kilometers east of the Yamada area. It was reported that the 6.8 magnitude earthquake occurred at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers.

TSUNAMI WARNING ISSUED

According to initial assessments, there were no casualties or property damage from the earthquake. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) issued a tsunami warning for Iwate Prefecture following the earthquake.
