In the investigations coordinated by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the teams examined a store bag that contained a chocolate wrapper thrown in the trash. Analyzing the 30-day footage from the store in July, the police identified the suspect as Gülcan Deniz from the camera recordings.
CONFESSED EVERYTHING
The arrested mother, Deniz, calmly confessed the horrifying truth in her statement. Gülcan Deniz stated that the baby belonged to her, that her husband constantly tortured her, that he did not want her to give birth to the child, and that after giving birth to her baby in the living room, she tied a piece of cloth around its neck. She then confessed that she put the baby's body in a bag and threw it into the trash container.
THE CRIMINAL MOTHER AND FATHER WERE ARRESTED
