The will of the famous artist Volkan Konak, who passed away after falling ill during his concert in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, will be fulfilled. Konak will be buried next to his parents, and his burial site has been prepared under a walnut tree.
Famous singer Volkan Konak, known as the Son of the North, suffered a heart attack on stage during his program in Cyprus. Despite all interventions, Konak could not be saved and passed away at the age of 58.
Volkan Konak's funeral was brought to Istanbul after the autopsy was performed. The artist's funeral prayer was held today at noon at Levent Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque.
CROWDING OCCURRED AT THE CEREMONY
Many famous names attended Volkan Konak's funeral, including Mehmet Aslantuğ, Perihan Savaş, Kutsi, Şevval Sam, Erol Evgin, Berkay Şahin and his wife Özlem Ada Şahin, Ahmet Selçuk İlkan, Melek Baykal, and Sinan Özen; a crowd occurred due to the large number of attendees.
WILL BE BURIED IN MAÇKA
Volkan Konak's funeral was set on its way to be buried in the family cemetery in Maçka after the prayer was held. Konak was sent off from the mosque on shoulders and with applause.
GRAVE SITE PREPARED
On the other hand, Konak's will will also be fulfilled. The grave site, where Konak will be buried next to his parents, has been prepared under the walnut tree.
