A 56-year-old person living in Karaman, who is also a cancer patient, was found dead at home with a gunshot wound. The son of the man, who was sent by his father to buy mantı (a traditional Turkish dish) and came home to find the body, reported the chilling incident to the authorities. It was revealed that the cancer patient, who was retired from Europe, had been discharged from the hospital a week ago.

The incident took place in the afternoon at the 2nd floor of a 4-story apartment building in Koçakdede neighborhood, 378th Street. Allegedly, Abidin Aslantaş, who lived alone, asked his son to bring him some mantı (a Turkish dish). When his son came home in the afternoon, he found his father lying on the floor, shot in the chest with a gun, and immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
FOUND DEAD AT THE SCENE
Upon the notification, medical and numerous police teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical team that arrived at the address determined that the person had died after conducting an examination. After the prosecutor's investigation at the crime scene, Aslantaş's lifeless body was taken to the morgue of Karaman Education and Research Hospital for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
