In the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the allegations that "votes were bought on the day of the congress" during the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress held on November 4-5, 2023, the statements of one party delegate and two party members were taken. One party delegate stated that he and 8 of his friends were offered money in exchange for voting for Özgür Özel.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE INVESTIGATES CHP'S CONGRESS
According to information obtained by AA reporter, the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office received a complaint from E.Ç. regarding the alleged bribery for votes at the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress on November 19, 2023, but declared a lack of jurisdiction and sent the file to the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on December 22, 2023.
KILIÇDAROĞLU AND HAMZAÇEBİ SUMMONED FOR TESTIMONY
The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation in January 2024 for the crime of "manipulating the voting" as regulated in Article 112 of the Political Parties Law. Within the scope of the investigation, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Akif Hamzaçebi were summoned to testify as witnesses due to their statements made in the media and on social media regarding the incident.
PARTY DELEGATE: WE WERE OFFERED MONEY
A party delegate who voted at the congress and two CHP members testified to the prosecutor's office as witnesses regarding the irregularities that occurred at the congress. The witness delegate claimed that he and eight delegate friends were offered money in exchange for voting for Özgür Özel, and that two CHP members also witnessed this incident.
A LAWSUIT FILED TO CANCEL THE CONGRESS
Additionally, one of the witnesses filed a lawsuit at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court to annul the congress. It has been learned that in the coming days, the statements of the individuals mentioned by the witnesses will be taken. It was also noted that the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its efforts to identify individuals who made statements regarding the allegations of irregularities related to the congress.
