It was alleged that food critic Vedat Milor received 9 thousand euros (500 thousand Turkish liras) for the promotion of an ice cream business but did not make a post. Milor's response to the allegations that sparked controversy was not delayed. Milor described the news and posts about him as 'slander' and announced that he had initiated legal proceedings through his lawyer.

The claim about a 9,000-euro promotion fee involving food critic Vedat Milor has sparked controversy. A business owner alleged that they agreed to pay Milor 9,000 euros (500,000 Turkish liras) for the promotion of their ice cream business in Erenköy, but the agreed post was never made.

"I PAID THE 9,000 EUROS IN CASH" CLAIM

The business owner claimed that on July 10, 2026, they reached an agreement with Milor for the promotion of the ice cream section and made the 9,000-euro payment in cash.

Stating that they have WhatsApp messages, photos, and security camera footage supporting their claim, the business owner alleged that the shooting and posting were agreed to be completed within a week.

"THE SHOOTING WAS DONE BUT NOT SHARED"

According to the business owner's claim, after the shooting date was postponed several times, Milor came to the business on July 24, 2026, and did the shooting. However, the content was not published on the agreed date.

The business owner claimed that posts for other ice cream businesses were given priority and that their own post was continuously delayed.

Noting that they operate seasonally, the business owner argued that the delay in the promotion caused financial and moral damages, and requested that the shot content be published and their damages be compensated.

FIRST RESPONSE FROM VEDAT MILOR

Following the allegations against him, Vedat Milor broke his silence. In a statement on his X account, Milor categorically denied the allegations, calling the news and posts "slander."

Milor said in his statement: "A legal process has been initiated by my lawyer against the news and posts made in the form of slander using my name."

LEGAL PROCESS INITIATED

Thus, Milor announced that he has resorted to legal action against the business owner's claims regarding the 9,000-euro payment and promotion agreement. Following the mutual statements of the parties, the controversy has been taken to the judiciary.
