At around 7:00 PM in the Yakutiye district on Farabi Boulevard, traffic police conducting checks attempted to stop a vehicle with the license plate 25 AAD 325 on suspicion.
UNLICENSED DRIVER FLED FROM POLICE
The driver of the vehicle, who did not comply with the police's 'stop' warning, fled. The driver, who ran a red light at the Terminal Street intersection, collided with a vehicle driven by K.A.
3 PEOPLE INJURED
In the accident, the driver K.A. and passengers R.Ş. and T.D. were injured. The driver S.D., who caused the accident while fleeing from the police, emerged from the vehicle unscathed. After the police team reported the accident via radio, the injured were taken to the hospital by ambulances dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that S.D., who was taken into custody, had previously been processed five times for driving under the influence and had his license revoked. S.D., who refused to blow into the breathalyzer, was taken to the hospital for a blood test.
