As a result of a car driven by an intoxicated driver crashing into a salting vehicle in Çorum, 2 people were injured, 1 of them seriously.
The accident occurred on İnönü Street. According to the information obtained, the car driven by M.L. (28) crashed into the salting vehicle belonging to the General Directorate of Highways, after the driver lost control of the steering wheel. In the accident, the car driver and a woman named G.R.Ç. (41) who was with him were injured.
THE DRIVER TURNED OUT TO BE INTOXICATED
Citizens who witnessed the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured, who were given first aid by the health teams that arrived at the scene, were taken to Erol Olçok Training and Research Hospital. It was learned that G.R.Ç., who was under treatment, was in critical condition. It was determined that M.L. had a blood alcohol level of 1.80 promille during the checks.
