HE STABBED THEM MISTAKING THEM FOR HIS ENEMIES
The incident occurred around 3:00 PM yesterday on Doğan Street in the Süleymanbey neighborhood. According to the information obtained, K.E.Ç. (45), who was learned to have psychological issues, mistook H.C. and E.T., who were waiting across from his house, for his enemies. Approaching them and starting an argument, K.E.Ç. lost his temper and stabbed the two citizens with a knife.
CHAOS ERUPTED WHEN HE INSULTED THOSE TRYING TO STOP THE FIGHT
O.Y., E.Ç., and M.Ç., who witnessed the incident and were passing by on the street, attempted to intervene to break up the fight. However, the attacker K.E.Ç. also hurled insults and curses at this group trying to calm him down and attacked them. Enraged by this reaction, the three individuals rushed into a nearby butcher shop and chased after K.E.Ç. with cleavers and knives they grabbed.

K.E.Ç., chased with butcher tools, quickly fled and took refuge in his house. The angry crowd gathered in front of the suspect's house and began to wait. When K.E.Ç. continued his curses from the window, the group waiting below threw the butcher knives and cleavers they had toward the window. One of the thrown knives stuck into the house wall, causing great panic in the neighborhood.
POLICE INTERVENED WITH PEPPER SPRAY: 4 DETAINED
Upon reports from witnesses, numerous police units were dispatched to the scene. Struggling to calm the angry group, security forces neutralized the suspects using pepper spray. K.E.Ç., who carried out the initial attack, along with O.Y., E.Ç., and M.Ç., who chased him with butcher tools, were taken into custody by police.
H.C. and E.T., who were stabbed by K.E.Ç. in the incident, were taken to Yalova State Hospital by ambulance.
