A 29-CENTIMETER GIANT MYOMA DETECTED IN HER ABDOMEN
As a result of examinations and further tests conducted by Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialist Op. Dr. Hasan Burak Rastgeldi, a giant mass approximately 29 centimeters in size was found in the patient's abdominal cavity. After evaluations, a decision for surgery was made.
SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED
The operation, performed by Op. Dr. Hasan Burak Rastgeldi and his team, was successfully completed as a result of meticulous work. The giant mass, covering a large part of the abdominal cavity, was completely removed without any complications. It was learned that the patient, closely monitored after surgery, is in good health and was discharged after a quick recovery. Pathological examination of the surgically removed mass determined that it was a benign myoma.
Commenting on the matter, Op. Dr. Hasan Burak Rastgeldi emphasized the importance of regular monitoring of myomas, stating, "When myomas are not diagnosed and monitored in time, they can reach quite large sizes. Such masses can cause serious health problems by pressing on surrounding organs. It is crucial that women do not neglect their regular gynecological check-ups and postpone their complaints."
"I FEEL VERY GOOD NOW"
Describing her treatment process, Sümeyra Savaş stated that the health problems she experienced negatively affected her daily life, saying, "I had severe bloating in my abdomen and experienced menstrual irregularities. On recommendation, I consulted our doctor Hasan Burak Rastgeldi. After the tests, I learned that I needed surgery. I had a very successful operation. I feel very good now. I thank my doctor and all the hospital staff."
