A fugitive, who has been sentenced to 33 years and 6 months in prison for 52 separate fraud offenses in Gümüşhane, was captured in Istanbul with the tracking of JASAT teams.
As part of the efforts to capture individuals wanted by the Gümüşhane Provincial Gendarmerie Command's Gendarmerie Crime Investigation Team (JASAT), the trace of a person named E.A., who has a total of 33 years and 6 months of confirmed prison sentence for the crime of "Fraud by Using Information Systems of Banks or Credit Institutions as a Tool," was found.
SENT TO PRISON
JASAT teams were assigned to Yalova to capture the wanted individual. As a result of the operations conducted in Yalova, it was determined that the fugitive had moved to the Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul.
E.A. was captured and taken into custody during an operation organized by JASAT teams in Istanbul. The fugitive was referred to judicial authorities and was arrested and delivered to Istanbul Metris Type 1 Closed Penal Institution.
