HIS CONDITION IS SERIOUS
According to the information obtained, Gürsel Bozkurt, who came to the 3-story building located on Gelincik Street in Sahabiye Neighborhood for furniture repair, found a person who had hanged himself with a scarf on the natural gas pipe when he entered the building. With the help of the tradesmen around, the person whose name could not be learned was taken down from where he was. Police and health teams were dispatched to the area upon the notice. Health teams took the person who attempted suicide to the hospital by ambulance after the first intervention at the scene. While it was learned that the person's health condition was serious, police teams conducted an examination at the scene.
"I THOUGHT IT WAS A MANNEQUIN"
Furniture repairman Gürsel Bozkurt, describing the incident, said, "I came to this building for furniture repair. When I entered the building, first I thought it was a mannequin, I went back outside. I called out to the tradesmen and we went inside together and rescued the person. We saw there was some movement in the person. We immediately informed the police and health teams. We took him down from the rope. We washed his face nicely with water. The person was a bit active."
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
