In the Bahçe district of Osmaniye, a tractor that went out of control after its trailer tipped over plunged into a stream on the side of the road. The driver and his wife, who were trapped under the tractor in the accident, lost their lives.
TRACTOR FELL INTO STREAM ON ROADSIDE
The accident occurred in the village of Kaman, affiliated with the Bahçe district. According to the information obtained, the trailer of the tractor, which was heading downhill on its way back from the field, tipped over for an unknown reason. The tractor, which went out of control, fell into a stream on the side of the road. Mehmet Say and his wife Elif Say were trapped under the overturned tractor.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT
Upon the notification, health, gendarmerie, and rescue teams were dispatched to the region. During the checks by health teams, it was determined that Mehmet Say (70) and his wife Elif Say (71) had lost their lives at the scene. The bodies of the couple were removed from under the tractor with the efforts of the teams.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
