The man in the US who drew attention because of his physical resemblance to Jeffrey Epstein and is known as "Palm Beach Pete" took a DNA test to put an end to the rumors about him. After he was filmed in Florida, a video was published alleging that Pete, who became the center of conspiracy theories claiming that Epstein is alive, went to Israel and had a DNA test done.
HE WAS RECOGNIZED THROUGH A VIDEO FILMED ON THE HIGHWAY
The incident began when a person named Andrew Posey in Florida filmed a man driving a convertible on the highway.
It drew attention that the driver in the footage resembled Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019. After the video quickly reached a wide audience, the driver's identity became a matter of curiosity.
"I AM NOT JEFFREY EPSTEIN"
It turned out that the person in the footage was Peter, known as "Palm Beach Pete". Responding to rumors about him, Pete stated that he was not Jeffrey Epstein and explained that he lives in the Palm Beach area of Florida.
Pete, who recounted that he received many messages on his phone after the footage was filmed on the highway without his knowledge, said that he had no connection to Epstein.
HE HAD A DNA TEST DONE
Pete, who came to prominence because of his resemblance to Epstein, also became involved in the DNA testing process to dispel doubts about his identity. In a podcast episode released in May 2026, it was announced that Pete had undergone a DNA test. In another program he appeared on in June, he said that he had taken a polygraph test and was waiting for the DNA test results.
Finally, a video was published regarding Pete going to Israel and having a DNA test done. However, the details and results of the test in Israel were not verified by independent sources.
CLAIMS REGARDING EPSTEIN'S DEATH REEMERGED
Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sexual abuse crimes against underage girls, died in August 2019 in the prison where he was being held in New York.
Although his death was recorded as suicide in official records, baseless claims that Epstein is alive are periodically raised again.
The footage of Palm Beach Pete also caused these claims to come to the fore again. However, there is no reliable evidence that Pete is Epstein.
