The lifeless body of a man seen motionless in the Tunca River in Edirne was removed from the water by AFAD teams. The unidentified body was taken to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.

A male body was found in the Tunca River in Edirne. Upon notification by those who saw the motionless person in the river at the Sarayiçi location, health, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the area.

AFAD teams retrieved the male body from the water using a boat and brought it to the shore.

THE IDENTITY OF THE BODY COULD NOT BE DETERMINED

The body, which had no identification on it, was placed in the morgue of Trakya University Medical Faculty Hospital for autopsy after the prosecutor's examination.

Edirne Police Chief Muhittin Ayhan also came to the scene and received information from the teams. An investigation has been launched to determine the identity of the body.
