In the İnegöl district of Bursa, bricklayer İhsan Uras was seriously injured after falling from the 4th floor of the construction site where he was working. The incident reportedly occurred in front of his son, who was working at the same construction site. The 57-year-old Uras, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved despite all medical interventions. Adding to the tragedy, it was revealed that Uras's brother, Halis Uras, had also died 30 years ago after falling from a construction site.

A 57-year-old bricklayer, İhsan Uras, lost his life after falling from the 4th floor of an apartment building under construction in the İnegöl district of Bursa. The tragic incident reportedly occurred before the eyes of his son, who was working at the same construction site. It was revealed that the family had experienced a similar tragedy years ago.

FELL BEFORE HIS SON'S EYES

The incident occurred at the apartment construction site on Rauf Denktaş Boulevard in Yeniceköy District. According to claims, bricklayer İhsan Uras lost his balance while installing the mobile freight elevator used for transporting materials. Uras fell from a height of approximately 10 meters onto the concrete floor, sustaining severe injuries. It was learned that the accident happened before the eyes of his son, Tolga U., who was working at the same construction site.

DIED IN THE HOSPITAL

Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention, Uras was taken by ambulance to İnegöl State Hospital. Despite all efforts by doctors, the 57-year-old worker could not be saved.

FAMILY EXPERIENCED THE SAME PAIN A SECOND TIME

Upon receiving the tragic news, his relatives suffered nervous breakdowns at the hospital. İhsan Uras's body was sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institution to determine the exact cause of death. Meanwhile, it was learned that Uras's brother, Halis Uras, had also died about 30 years ago after falling from a construction site.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Teams from the İnegöl Gendarmerie Command have initiated an investigation into the manner in which the accident occurred and regarding occupational safety measures.
