A motorcyclist who lost control on the Bakırköy D-100 Highway crashed into a lighting pole, resulting in the death of Turkmenistan national driver Shanur Amanturdyyev at the scene. Babamyrat Annamyrsdov, who was seriously injured in the accident, could not be saved despite all interventions at the hospital where he was taken.
Two people lost their lives after a motorcycle that went out of control on the Bakırköy D-100 Highway crashed into a lighting pole. The passenger, who was seriously injured in the accident, died in the hospital where he was taken.
MOTORCYCLE OUT OF CONTROL VEERS INTO REFUGE
The accident occurred around 22:30 on the Ankara direction of the Bakırköy D-100 Highway. According to claims, the motorcycle with license plate 34 MJ 6510, driven by Turkmen national Shanur Amanturdyyev, veered into the median after the driver lost control and crashed into a lighting pole.
DRIVER DIES AT THE SCENE
Due to the impact of the violent crash, the motorcycle driver Shanur Amanturdyyev and the passenger behind him, Turkmen national Babamyrat Annamyrsdov, were thrown onto the road.
Upon notification from citizens in the area, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Medical teams determined that driver Amanturdyyev had died at the scene.

Babamyrat Annamyrsdov, who was seriously injured in the accident, was taken to the hospital after initial intervention by medical teams. However, Annamyrsdov could not be saved despite all efforts by the doctors.
DAMAGE TO THE LIGHTING POLE
After the work of police and crime scene investigation teams, the body of the deceased driver was taken to the morgue. The accident caused damage to the lighting pole, and the parts that were scattered onto the road and posed a traffic hazard were removed by electrical teams.
