The incident occurred at 20:00 in Kemer Mahallesi. Police, suspicious of a motorcycle carrying two helmetless youths, issued a 'stop' order. The driver, disregarding police warnings, began to flee. Continuing his escape towards Mimar Sinan Mahallesi, the driver overturned his motorcycle during the chase. The driver, identified as M.M., and his friend survived the accident with minor abrasions. After the crash, the driver of the overturned motorcycle hugged the police and cried.
400 THOUSAND TL FINE
The driver was fined 400 thousand TL for driving without a license, riding without a helmet, running a red light, endangering traffic safety, and failing to comply with the 'stop' order. Meanwhile, the slightly injured driver and his friend were taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
