24 CREW MEMBERS ON BOARD
The statement reported that 24 crew members of different nationalities were on board, and a large-scale rescue operation has been launched.
The ship named "MV Ocean Winner," which was heading to Singapore, sank approximately 240 nautical miles from Odisha's Paradip Port, from where it had departed on August 20.
RESCUE OPERATION LAUNCHED
According to NDTV, the ship's operator, Victory Star Group, informed the Indian Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre on Saturday that communication with the ship had been lost, prompting a joint rescue operation by the Indian Coast Guard and the Indian Navy.
