A passenger bus that lost control in Afyonkarahisar overturned in a ditch approximately 50 meters high after crossing the barriers. According to initial reports, 21 people were injured in the accident. Rescue efforts are ongoing.

In Afyonkarahisar, a passenger bus lost control, crashed through the barriers, and then rolled down a slope approximately 50 meters high, resulting in injuries to 21 people according to initial reports. The accident occurred at the exit of the Çay district on the Afyonkarahisar-Konya highway. According to information obtained, the passenger bus, which was reportedly heading to Gaziantep, lost control after the driver lost steering control for an undetermined reason.

RESCUE OPERATIONS CONTINUE

The bus then crashed through the roadside barriers and rolled down the slope approximately 50 meters high. After the accident, gendarmerie, health, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the area. According to initial reports, 21 people were injured in the accident. Rescue operations by the teams in the area are ongoing.
